Parent Consultation & Training

Every family has individual needs. The goal of consultation and parent training is to achieve successful daily routines both in and out of the home. What would make the greatest impact in your day? Knowing the most conducive way to organize toys in your home? Setting up a daily schedule? Designing and structuring a predictable bedtime routine?

Educational Consultations

A child’s ability to communicate and interact effectively with peers and teachers greatly affects their educational setting. Holland provides educational consultations based on the individual child and family’s needs in order to achieve the most successful educational experience and access to learning. This may include the following:
  • Interviewing and/or touring potential education placements
  • Attending IEP meetings
  • Meeting with current school staff to coordinate care
  • Providing training to school staff
  • Educational observations
  • Implementing recommendations within the educational setting
